Abstract or Summary:
Words are generally discouraged for use in a password because they can make it easier to crack. However, combining words together in sentences, or passphrases, has been encouraged by some in the security industry. This talk analyzes leaked passwords to identify which ones might have been formed using this technique and attempted to analyze how cracking attacks against similar passphrases could be improved.
