Abstract or Summary:
Account compromises have unfortunately become a more common occurrence. Password re-use is bad for your security hygiene but it’s a habit that we’ve struggled to break free from. In this talk, I present an alternate strategy to strengthen a user’s security posture. We will discuss the concept and benefits of a disposable identity. This is not cure but another idea to make the attack vector more difficult to spread beyond the single compromise.
