Bank phishing scam fools 5% of targeted victims into disclosing card number and PIN
Study: Bank of England Falls Victim As Email Scams Rise ‘By 400 Per Cent’ Date: December 31 2003 Phishing scams, often originating in Russia or west Africa, have recently plagued a number of high street banks, including Lloyds TSB, Halifax and NatWest.
